Sisters Rising Worldwide: Q1 2025 Impact Report
Our latest Impact Report highlights a season filled with significant achievements and unwavering dedication to addressing the root causes of injustice worldwide.
Many have been injured, food supplies have been looted, and our most vulnerable—infants and orphans—have suffered greatly.
On behalf of the Franciscan Sisters, the residents of our community, and the children of St. Thomas Primary School, we reach out to you in a time of desperate need. Our orphanage and community were recently devastated by a violent rebel attack, leaving our homes, belongings, and essential facilities—including our toilets—destroyed.
Many have been injured, food supplies have been looted, and our most vulnerable—infants and orphans—have suffered greatly. In light of this crisis, we humbly seek your urgent support.
We are in immediate need of emergency funds to:
$22,000 USD will serve 819 people
Your support will have a profound and lasting impact:
Immediate relief for starving orphans through access to essential food supplies.
Safe and dignified rest for children who have lost everything.
Prevention of disease outbreaks through improved sanitation.
At this critical moment, we have no financial means to address these urgent needs alone. Your generosity will bring comfort, hope, and healing to those who have suffered immensely.
Thank you for your compassion and support.
