Purchase of food and mattresses for our orphans and construction toilets

Many have been injured, food supplies have been looted, and our most vulnerable—infants and orphans—have suffered greatly.

On behalf of the Franciscan Sisters, the residents of our community, and the children of St. Thomas Primary School, we reach out to you in a time of desperate need. Our orphanage and community were recently devastated by a violent rebel attack, leaving our homes, belongings, and essential facilities—including our toilets—destroyed.

Many have been injured, food supplies have been looted, and our most vulnerable—infants and orphans—have suffered greatly. In light of this crisis, we humbly seek your urgent support.

Urgent Needs:

We are in immediate need of emergency funds to:

• Purchase food for starving orphans who have lost access to regular meals.
• Provide mattresses for children who are currently sleeping on the floor.
• Construct a modern public toilet to prevent open defecation, which has already led to the spread of disease.
