SRW advisor and donor, Jeanne H. Olofson, hosted an intimate gathering in her Palm Beach home this February to share the impactful work of Sisters Rising Worldwide. During this fun, progressive-appetizer-style reception, Sister Irene shared stories about the work of the Sisters at each “stop” in Jeanne’s home, and guests got a firsthand look at the PeaceRoom technology platform (pictured).
One of our guests, Laurie Bay, remarked, “Thank you for your wonderfully creative introduction to Sister Irene, Angie, and Sisters Rising Worldwide last night. What a monumental and vital project Sister Irene undertook. The possibilities this project offers the nuns to help the communities they serve are indeed far-reaching. It sounds simple, but nothing worthwhile ever is. Bringing something to its simplest form is often challenging, but it presents the best opportunity for success. I think Sister Irene has met that challenge beautifully. Congratulations to her and all who have worked to bring SRW to fruition. WOW!”
