CURRENT CRISIS

Around the world, humanitarian needs are growing amid the defunding of key U.S. foreign assistance programs like USAID. Support systems that once served the most vulnerable have collapsed — especially in hard-to-reach places in Africa. As NGOs lose funding and their staff have had to exit these regions, the Sisters remain. Embedded in the very communities they serve, Sisters are stepping up to meet staggering needs with courage, commitment, and compassion. We are hearing from many Sisters asking for help with immediate crisis needs for those they serve, including emergency food supplies, malaria nets, and mattresses – to name a few.  This is an unprecedented time for the Sisters’ leadership – but they cannot do it alone. They need your support to save lives and restore hope.

Sisters stayed and they need our help –from everyone!

Your gift of $100, $250, or any amount meaningful to you can help Sisters bring food, healing, and hope to those most in need. Together, we can meet this moment of crisis with compassion and action.

The need is overwhelming.  If not you, who?  If not now, when?

  • Markets are empty, and basic food staples like sorghum are scarce.
  • Malnutrition is worsening, affecting tens of thousands of children with numbers expected to rise due to displacement and economic instability.
  • Children’s immune systems are weakening, making them more vulnerable to malaria, measles, cholera, and respiratory infections.

Sisters at this critical moment, have no financial means to address these urgent needs alone. Your generosity will bring comfort, hope, and healing to those who have suffered immensely.

  • Funds will be used for Emergency Food Supplies: Sorghum, Millet, Rice, and Maize Flour
  • Seeds for Cultivation: As the planting season begins in April, these seeds will help families regain self-sufficiency.
  • Malaria nets
