Thanks to our generous donors, Sisters Rising Worldwide sponsored workshops to teach 100 young men and women how to make different kinds of soap. Today, Nigeria offers few employment opportunities due to local political and economic turmoil. By equipping young people with needed skills like soapmaking and empowering them to start their own small scale businesses, Sisters are reducing unemployment among the vulnerable, fostering self-reliance, and protecting the health and wellbeing of entire communities by ensuring access to healthcare essentials like soap and detergent.
