Catholic Sisters Week Recap: Championing Sisters at the UN!

Earlier this month, SRW CEO Sr. Irene O’Neill visited New York City for Catholic Sisters Week. Alongside PeaceRoom Coordinator Beth Blissman, Sr. Irene attended the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations World Headquarters. They met with leaders and changemakers from across the world to amplify SRW’s mission and the voices of Sisters worldwide. Enjoy some highlights from this exciting week!

Irene spoke as part of a panel to a group of high school student leaders attending the conference. The students were captivated by her stories of the Sisters. Irene was particularly inspired by their eagerness to be a part of real change.
