Sisters Rising Worldwide COO Kelly Young recently hosted a fundraiser at her home for the the Sisters of St. Joseph Community College in Visakhapatnam, India. The goal of the event was to help the Sisters purchase a minivan that would let them provide transportation to internships for at-risk vulnerable young women, allowing them to avoid being exploited and tricked into human trafficking situations as they pursued careers that will help them escape poverty.
Here are some images from the evening, which raised more than $7k towards the Sisters’ goal of $23,500.
