Get Ready to Make a Difference: SRW’s New Youth Programs are Coming!

In August, SRW will launch two exciting new youth programs for rising champions for change. Sister Champions Ignite (for high schoolers) and Impact Collective (for college students) offer students the chance to work on real-world issues, lead creative campaigns, build community, and join other young people passionate about making a difference. They’ll gain mentors, leadership skills, and have the chance to truly make an impact.

Sister Champions Ignite is a competition for high school students ready to take real action to support Sisters in their work. Teams of 2-3 students will be awarded points for activities like posting about Sisters on social media, registering for a virtual run, or raising funds for Sister programs. The team with the most points at the end of the competition wins the grand prize – a trip to New York City to attend the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in 2026!

Impact Collective encourages college students to build community partnerships and fundraise for Sisters through a tiered digital badge system. Each badge signals a milestone and unlocks new rewards, building a sense of achievement and community rooted in faith. Students are encouraged to host events, fundraise, recruit Sister Champions, run digital campaigns, and build partnerships with other student groups. Best of all, at the end of the competition, two winners will also go to United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and receive a $2,500 scholarship.

These exciting programs offer unparalleled opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills, make a tangible difference, and connect with a global community dedicated to positive change. Keep an eye on SRW social media for more information in the coming weeks!
