Fully Funded: Sisters’ Program to Provide Safe Environment For Girls to Study

Your donations helped young girls further their education and protect their futures.

The families living in Senegal’s largest region lack necessities like safe housing, clean water, sanitation, and reliable electricity. More than half of the population is under 20 years old, making education a critical issue.

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy have been established in the Tambacounda region of Senegal since 1960. Their mission is to provide a safe space for young girls to live and study.

To give these children a chance at creating a better life, the Sisters in this region have built an educational boarding facility large enough to house 40 young ladies in need of a safe space.

Your kind donations have made it possible for Sisters Rising Worldwide to make crucial repairs to the facility and purchase equipment for safety and education.
